I’ve had my Aku boots for just over a year now and I have to say they are the perfect boot. They have the performance of a good strong and sturdy mountain boot, but with absolute comfort. They are as comfortable as a good trainer, but totally reliable in rocky terrain and in the wet. Mine have done many a mile in the last year including The Lake District where I live, The Isle of Skye, Crete and the Swiss Alps. I’m not usually one for recommending things, because everyone’s tastes are different, but I would have no hesitation in recommending Aku Boots. I did recommend them to my wife and she now has a pair that she loves too.

A true 5 star trekking boot. Do not let the comfort of this boot fool you into thinking its not upto the job. very sturdy and so far fully waterproof and breathable. Although I made this choice through searching for the perfect spring/autumn trekking/backpacking boot they will most definately make appearances in all weathers on any terrain. Although i paid a higher price for a different colour online i personally recommend you visit the keswick boot company for sizing and staff knowledge. The price of this boot is not a gamble, couldnt rate it higher for its intended use.

Best boots I’ve worn in over 30 years of hiking, comfortable from the off.
I broke my ankle badly in my 20’s and I was getting to the points where hikes of 4 miles or more over uneven ground were become to painful even in good quality boots like Meindl.
These have given me a new lease of hiking life, can’t recommend highly enough.
First pair of non full leather boots I’ve ever bought been a bit of a traditionalist till now and now a convert to light weight boots.
Use mainly over the boggy Peak district and no sign of a leak, so they don’t leak here they ain’t going to leak. !!
