Bought these boots in October, they took a few outings to break in, which surprised me, but after that they really are a comfortable boot. Very supportive around the ankle. After a day’s beating on rough , wet ground, no problems at all. Wore them all season and since, very pleased with them. The extra width means an extra pair of socks in cold weather. My only slight niggle is although the soles give good grip in all conditions, they seem to hold the mud a bit. I would definitely recommend these boots
