I am sitting here writing this is a pair of Bridgedales I have had for over 8 years. Even though these socks cost more than the average sock they certainly last much much longer. I have used these socks for loads of sports and even where them for work as they are so comfortable. Two years ago I completed the Keswick to Barrow walk which is 40 miles and I wore these socks together with the coolmax liners. I managed to complete the walk blister free. Most people had to stop to sort out blisters and change socks but I just kept on going. Even when halfway into the walk it pored down so much I got soggy socks and just carried on going because the whickability on these socks are so good they just dried out so quick I didn’t have to bother changing them (not that I recommend this). These are a good choice for casual walking and also the more serious stuff.
